JAN Hollingsworth was the lucky recipient of last year’s Echuca Lions Club trailer raffle.
With the raffle beginning just before Christmas, Jan was announced as the winner on December 26 and took home a whole swag of goodies.
Jan and her husband Brian moved from South Africa 12 years ago and Jan said it has proved to be a great move for the pair — and the Lions trailer is the cherry on top. The raffle has been running since 1984 and Echuca Lions Club members said it has been a successful fundraiser that allows them to distribute money back into the town.
Lions thanks all businesses involved for allowing members to set up out the front during the raffle, and would like to thank everyone who assisted in running the raffle.
