Man, Rochy played the field — and won every game

Under 15s: In the first quarter Alannah Weeks had several deflections which were rewarded with intercepts.

Tegan Williams was strong with her rebounding which resulted in many turnovers.

The experienced Teal Hocking combined well with young gun Krystal Conder, who worked the ring brilliantly.

Ava Cottom and Ellie Moroney dominated in the defence end putting a stop to numerous balls.

Charlee Roulston and Alex Ingram hit the mid-court proving their agility which was too good for their opponents.

Leila Palmer showed some great form in GA increasing the lead to come away with another impressive win.

Best players: Alannah Weeks, Alexandra Ingram and Ellie Moroney.

Scores: Rochester 59 def. Mansfield 20.

Under 17s: The girls started the game strongly with Ella McPhee and Tazarni Clarke feeding nicely into the goalers and working hard through mid-court.

Lizzy Ingram had her eye in shooting with accuracy and combining well with Matilda Lockyer in the goal ring.

With a nine-goal lead at half-time the girls pushed the margin out thanks to some nice defensive work from Elle Palmer and Eliza Williams.

While Emily Teggelove and Georgia Maiden made their opponents work hard for the ball.

Best players: Lizzy Ingram, Ella McPhee and Elle Palmer.

Scores: Rochester 52 def. Mansfield 41.

B reserve: In what was another great team effort from the girls, they showed great pressure all down the court with hands over everything.

Lana Marsh showed her strength in doing just that, getting plenty of hands to everything in WD.

While up the other end the presence of Kristen Moroney saw accurate shooting, superb passing with Alannah Gilmore and many intercepts and tap ons down the court.

It was a tough day in each goal circle but all the girls stood up and did their job.

Kristie Roulston continued to turn back the clock with many intercepts, clean moves and her ablity to run hard all day.

B grade: The girls stepped onto the court with confidence today against Mansfield.

Young superstar Tazarni Clarke was brought into the team and she played a stunning game in centre — feeding the ball well into the dynamic duo in Tammy McIntosh and Jaime Dingwall.

Both goalers played a fantastic game shooting with great accuracy.

Sarah West had a ripper day in defence alongside Rosy Miechel keeping their shooters under pressure the whole game.

Shannen Keath and Sarah Ingram played a strong game combining well in mid-court.

Best players: Tammy McIntosh, Jaime Dingwall and Sarah West.

A grade: It was a slow start from our girls in a very tough and physical game as Maddy Holt and Abbey Dingwall worked hard all day in defence.

Ellie Cuttriss, Ella Roulston and Lillian Ward combined well in mid-court bringing the ball down the court to their shooters in Morgan Dingwall who shot beautifully and was assisted well by Sahra Brooks.

Bringing a young gun on from the under 15’s in Teal Hocking in the dying minutes of the game saw her slot in well in her first A grade game.

In and absolute nail bitter of a finish the team came home with a one-goal win.

Best players: Maddy Holt, Ella Rouston and Abbey Dingwall.
