U12s Moama White
Fantastic game played out in Moama on Friday night, with Moama White taking on Leitchville-Gunbower.
Moama laid the pressure on right from the first bounce kicking the first goal.
They never really looked like losing control of the game from there.
Zade Maschewski showed some great attacking pressure, with Fred Peat providing a good marking option up forward.
Bit of a change around at half time saw some boys fresh from defence up forward.
Lochie Patterson had a great game, showing some exciting skills to look forward to in the future.
Lochy Barlow and Alex Donchi kept the game moving with excellent team work and Oliver Wright stood out again this week.
Fantastic game, looking forward to next week.
U14s — MFL
Frosty conditions greeted the young Magpies as they made the trip to Nathalia.
A fast start by the Magpies was impressive, playing a wonderful brand of football.
Hudson was on fire early, taking several strong marks around the ground as he presented strongly from centre half forward.
Jobe was lively early on the wing, providing plenty of opportunities for our forwards.
A slow paced second quarter saw a tight and even contest with both teams going hard at the footy.
Jye was providing plenty of run from half back while Lachie worked hard in the middle to maintain possession.
The third quarter saw Nathalia kick away, scoring four goals while Moama slipped back into their shell.
A half time change saw Jonte move from full forward to full back and play an excellent defensive game.
The final quarter saw Moama’s desire for the football return, putting in a solid quarter to finish the game well.
