The club elected to use V12 boats across the day, with participants travelling from Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney to be involved.
On Saturday, the club paddled from Barmah to the Cape Horn Winery — a journey which took three hours.
The trip finished at the Victoria Park boat ramp on Sunday as participants enjoyed a light lunch following their final three and a half hour stretch.
President Don Larcombe deemed the trip a great success after receiving strong feedback from visitors.
‘‘Everyone had a great time,’’ he said.
‘‘The club is really pleased with how smoothly everything ran.
‘‘We’re already looking to expand next year.’’
Low river levels did provide a challenge for the club, as muddy banks made it difficult to place boats in the water.
‘‘Starting the trip was probably the toughest thing,’’ Larcombe said.
‘‘But once we got going there were no troubles.’’
