Early education provider G8 Education shares rallied despite the company posting a $38.8 million statutory first-half loss, as revenue shrunk by more than 11 per cent to $413.6 million.
Payment solutions provider Tyro sold off by more than a tenth despite recording growth over the financial year across all major metrics.
In company news, WiseTech has appointed Tim Ebbeck as an independent non-executive director, and will take over from Raelene Murphy as audit and risk committee chair.
SkyCity Entertainment shares advanced after knocking back multiple takeover offers from Oaktree Capital, noting "problematic" conditions and undervaluation concerns.
