The grant, which came through Moira Shire Council’s community strengthening grants, went towards four new trikes, set of soft building and climbing blocks and four new blue exercise mats.
The items will assist the children in the Ganga and Gurbur rooms to help develop gross muscle movements and social skills as well as giving them more resources to use outside.
Eilleen Taylor Kindergarten also benefited from a $5000 grant through the scheme.
The centre received climbing equipment, which will help to develop the children’s gross muscle skills and core muscles, vital in being able to sit for long periods of time at a desk or mat in school.
