The school had planned to bring Darren Pereira from Success Integrated to the school for a parent information session this year, however due to COVID-19 restrictions it saw the need to make alternate arrangements.
“Darren is well known to the Grammar and other local schools and is a well respected keynote presenter in the education sector,” Moama Anglican Grammar deputy principal Kathleen Kemp said.
Having inspired more than 400,000 students, staff and parents across four countries for more than 18 years, Mr Pereira is one of the most in-demand, charismatic and energetic speakers in the world.
The session will explore supporting teenagers to become well organised and to develop positive study habits.
It will also assist parents to set clear expectations and firm boundaries to manage work ethic and social media issues.
Mr Pereira will also provide tips around communicating effective to build learning confidence for academic success.
“While the session is primarily focused on teenagers, parents and guardians of younger students will also benefit from his insight and are very welcome to attend,” Ms Kemp said.
