Rather than watch and learn, Tatura Primary School Year 3 student Greta Knowles took action.
Having battled leukaemia at just four years old, Greta, now in remission, organised a ‘Movie and PJ Day’ on Friday, July 4, encouraging students and staff to roll out of bed and into school in their pyjamas.
Teaming up with the Junior School Council, she aimed to support The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, a place that played a crucial role in her recovery.
Her effort paid off, with an impressive $384 raised through gold-coin donations.
News photographer Rechelle Zammit was at the out-of-uniform day to capture students sporting their cosiest attire.
