Leading Senior Constable Shane Flynn of Gunbower police has organised a community question and answer session from 9am to 3pm at the Lions Park in Gunbower Island Rd.
"The aim of the day is to assist the local community with any questions or concerns that they may have regarding crime or anti-social behaviour," he said.
"Also to educate residents regarding security of their property, to assist them with their decision-making process about their home and personal safety and to answer any questions that the community may have of their local police."
Members from surrounding stations will be helping Snr Constable Flynn on the day and there will be a number of police cars and an information unit on display.
“Members from Victoria Police look forward to assisting you on the day," Snr Constable Flynn said.
