A 13-lot development at 1 Denmark Rd has hit the market and LJ Hooker Echuca principal Allison Minter expects interest locally and from out-of-town investors.
“There is always a lot of interest in Echuca-Moama because it’s a renowned tourism destination on the Murray,” she said.
“So we expect there will be out-of-town investors interested – Echuca is more than a town with steamboats and biting fish, it’s an opportunity to be part of a welcoming community with a great lifestyle.”
With a diverse industrial sector including manufacturing and agriculture as well as an established supply chain on a regular transport route, Ms Minter said Echuca represented a solid investment.
And without the hassles that come with city commutes.
“We’re nearby to other larger regional centres and have a diverse business environment which means Echuca is a very sustainable town,” she said.
“These blocks represent a great long-term investment in a tangible asset, with land available for commercial and industrial activities.
“For locals it’s a chance to own your own land and call your own shots, for out-of-town investors, it’s a great chance to buy into a reliable investment.”
Ms Minter said like all good things, the opportunity wouldn't be there forever.
“There are only 13 lots for sale, it’s a massive opportunity for land investors who know how to pursue the opportunity,” she said.
“There are reduced stamp duty incentives available and lots from $285,000.”
