The committee announced the news via its Facebook page, expressing disappointment.
“As restrictions around the coronavirus pandemic are increasing again, including the closing of the NSW border, our committee feel that cancelling the event is not only in the best interest of public health and safety, but also of running a successful 2021 Show,” the post said.
“We hope this decision takes pressure off of local businesses who support our show each year, who may be struggling financially during these trying times, and our volunteers and members who have dedicated their time to running this event.”
The team also thanked the locals for their continued support.
“We would like to thank all exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, and of course the Echuca-Moama community for your continued support,” it said.
“We wish you all the best in the coming months, and look forward to everyone returning in the new year.”
The Echuca-Moama show will be back in 2021.
