LJ Hooker Easter egg hunt postponed

LJ HOOKER has made the difficult decision to postpone the real estate agents’ annual Easter egg hunt for another year.

After having to push the event back last year, LJ Hooker principal Allison Minter said it would be difficult to keep the event COVID-19 safe.

“We have up to 500 kids come to take part at the Echuca Primary School oval and that doesn't include parents and families, so we can possibly have almost 2000 people here at a time,” she said.

“We are disappointed to have to do this again, but we have to make sure everyone is safe and it would be very hard to ensure everyone is socially distant.”

But Ms Minter said she was keen to get the event back up and running in 2022.

“It's something we enjoy putting on each year so we will do what we can to bring it back when it's safe to do so,” she said.
