Gravity irrigation, diversion and drainage customers are being invited to take part in a series of customer focus groups between November 22 and December 3.
G-MW Strategy and Services Planning general manager Daniel Irwin said the focus groups were the next step in G-MW’s engagement program following the recent survey seeking customer feedback on the opportunities to improve services.
“During the sessions, we will discuss feedback from the survey and ‘deep dive’ into the key themes to help further inform the development of G-MW’s Gravity and Diversions Service Plans,” he said.
Each focus group session will run for about two hours through an interactive online format, and will be facilitated by a G-MW staff member.
Places are limited to 10 customers per focus group to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to have their say.
“We are seeking representation across our gravity irrigation and diversion customer groups to ensure these discussions and the feedback we receive is transparent and reflective of these customer groups,” Mr Irwin said.
Gravity focus groups will be held for the western region (Loddon Valley and Torrumbarry) on November 23 at noon and November 30 at 6.30pm.
A central (Rochester and Central Goulburn) region group will meet on November 24 at noon and December 1 at 6.30pm.
In the east (Murray Valley and Shepparton) the dates are November 25 at noon and December 2 at 6.30pm.
Diversion focus groups for groundwater are on November 23 at 6.30pm and November 30 at noon.
Regulated water discussions will be held on November 24 at 6.30pm and December 1 at noon. Regulated D&S issues will be raised on November 26 at noon and November 29 at 6.30pm.
Unregulated water focus groups will meet on November 25 at 6.30pm and December 2 at noon, with unregulated D&S on November 22 at 6.30pm December 3 at noon.
A drainage focus group will be held on November 29 at noon and November 30 at 6.30pm.
