After more than three weeks missing, six-year-old Argo was been found safe on a neighbouring property near where he disappeared from North Kerarbury Station, outside Darlington Point, on October 2.
Owners Ross and Narelle Davidson confirmed the much-loved pet had been located and thanked the community for its overwhelming support throughout the search.
“We would like to thank everyone for their help and quick action in getting the message out to the community,” Mr Davidson said.
The family's appeal prompted a strong response across the region, with locals sharing social media posts, keeping watch for sightings and assisting search efforts.
Argo's disappearance sparked an extensive search involving ground patrols, wildlife cameras, humane traps and a thermal drone operation, while the family also contacted vets, councils and animal shelters across a wide area.
The Davidsons said they were deeply grateful for the support they received during what had been an emotional ordeal.
