Christ Church Anglican reverend Phil Zamagias, who led the service, said the community response was positive.
“The people who came along were very appreciative,” he said.
“We had a pleasant time getting together and enjoying the bikes, spiders and machines that came along.
“It was a bit chilly, which put a damper on things.”
The event included a moment of remembrance for those lost.
“We paused to remember the fallen, because sadly, each year, there are those who are no longer with us, and that is an important part of what we do,” Rev Zamagias said.
A moment of remembrance was held for those who had passed away, highlighting the importance of honouring the fallen each year.

Local church members provided strong support with refreshments.
“We had good support from the local church members, with lots of cakes and slices made for morning tea.
“We had the coffee van there, so had nice hot coffee, and then all went off to lunch together.”
Rev Zamagias emphasised the community connection.
“It is an opportunity for the church to serve the community,” he said.
“And the biker community seem to really appreciate having that link with us, and they are pretty keen to do it again.
“Regardless of numbers, those who came were blessed and we are very pleased to be able to offer that.”
