Police are treating the caravan fire as suspicious.
Kyabram police Sergeant Scott Newton said a fire investigator was on scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
“It is unknown at this stage how the fire started,” he said.
The caravan, which was left an unrecognisable ruin, is believed to be someone’s home but no-one was inside at the time of the fire and no-one was injured.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the time to contact Echuca police on 5483 1500 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
