Echuca CFA captain Dan Moylan said the event was a tremendous success and highlighted the strong connection between the brigade and community.
"It was a great opportunity to show off our trucks and equipment, chat with locals, give people an up close and personal look at what we do and teach some vital life skills such as CPR,” he said.
The event attracted people of all ages, with children taking a particular interest in the brigade's fire trucks and equipment displays.
"It was fantastic to see so many families, kids and community members getting involved, asking questions and sharing the day with us," Mr Moylan said.

Alongside modern firefighting appliances, visitors were also able to step back in time thanks to a display of vintage fire trucks provided by the Fire Services Museum of Victoria.
Ambulance Victoria also joined the open day, showcasing the brigade's Fire Medical Response program and giving visitors an insight into the important role CFA volunteers play in responding to medical emergencies.
"The support from our partner agencies helped make it a great experience for everyone who came along,” Mr Moylan said.
The open day forms part of the brigade's ongoing efforts to engage with the community, promote fire safety awareness and encourage new volunteers to learn more about joining the CFA.
