Running from Thursday, November 19 to Saturday, November 21, this will be STAG’s final show for the year, wrapping up another busy season with a mix of comedy, romance, live music and plenty of chaos along the way.
Directed by Gemma Marchant, A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four young lovers who find themselves caught up in the madness of an enchanted forest, a group of amateur actors trying to put on a play, and a fairy king and queen whose arguments cause trouble for everyone.
Throw in the mischievous Puck, a magical flower and a few cases of mistaken identity, and things quickly get out of hand!
The production features a fantastic local cast including Megan Scott, Olivia Maher, Amy Hollow, Casey Fogarty, Hayley Jobson, Daniel Ryan, David Kerr, Greg Wighton, Fiona Kennan, Sean Mahony, Samantha Gierwield, William Amadei, Yvette Knight, Anthony Brophy, Fraser Ellis, Rachel Connell, Sue Windsor, Anna Ringelstein, Josie Lester and Laura Bradbury.
This production offers audiences something a little different, with the chance to enjoy live theatre in a beautiful outdoor setting.
There are a few seating options available. You can bring a picnic rug or low-backed chair and settle in close to the action, or book a camp chair ticket in the designated seating area.
For those wanting to make a night of it, verandah tickets offer a view from the raised verandah and include a hamper to enjoy during the performance.
