Blue-green algae warnings removed in parts of the Torrumbarry Irrigation Area

Warnings for No.2 Lagoon and Gum Lagoon will remain in place until further notice.

Goulburn-Murray Water will continue water quality testing. If blue-green algae levels increase to a quantity regarded as unsafe by national health guidelines, a new warning will be provided.

Customers are reminded that water supplied by Goulburn-Murray Water is unsuitable for human consumption without being adequately treated.
