Supported by Campaspe Shire Council, the next session will be held from 10.30am to noon on October 19 at Crossenvale Community House on Boothman St, Echuca.
Each session features different organisations offering information and support.
Crossenvale Community House manager Rob Foran said the first session, held on October 5, proved a success.
“We were unsure how much uptake there would be, given that quite often mental health isn't something you go out of your way to find help with or to find out more information about,” he said.
“We had people from the local community actually seek out the event.”
Mr Foran said the initiative was designed to address a gap in service access for residents in the area.
“Crossenvale finds itself quite isolated from services, just because everything's in the centre of town and transport can be tough for people in this part of Echuca,” he said.
“Bringing these six organisations to Crossenvale gives people in this part of the world a rare opportunity to actually access these services on their doorstep.”
The October 5 session featured Thorne Harbour Country, which supports LGBTIQA+ communities, and The Local, which offers free mental health and wellbeing support.
Echuca Regional Health and headspace attended on October 12, followed by Njernda and Intereach on October 19.
Mr Foran said the sessions also helped raise awareness of services many residents did not know existed.
“I hear quite often from people that Echuca doesn't have enough services, and that we get a bit neglected here,” he said.
“But at the same time, we do have some fantastic services available for mental and all sorts of health.”
Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell welcomed the initiative.
“The Mental Health Month pop-up at Crossenvale Community House is a great way to encourage open discussions about mental health and help break down barriers that could prevent people from reaching out for support,” he said.
