Nine of 11 members finalised

The following nominations have been received for the stakeholders: Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club - Graham Hosier and Rowena Black; Junior Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club - Beau Longmire; Corowa Auskick - Matt Witherden; Corowa Playgroup - Tamara Holdsworth; Youth Councillor - Isabel Carroll and Ageing Well Committee - Wendy Eyers.

Council approved for the committee to proceed to meet and undertake its functions prior to the two vacancies being filled, as advised at its latest monthly meeting on Monday.

Chair of the committee is council mayor Pat Bourke, with Cr David Fahey OAM as deputy chair, as decided at council’s February meeting.

Council will continue to advertise and seek nominations to fill the two vacant positions, and while this occurs, the committee will proceed to meet and progress any initiatives, to assist the future direction of John Foord Oval facilities.
