The United Australia Party candidate is meeting with groups at Nagambie on Easter Monday.
He will be at Broadford on Thursday (keep an eye out for his location).
“I am in full campaign mode after Easter, but during the break I will be visiting a variety of groups. I have volunteers throughout the electorate,” he said.
Dr Peterson said he would be allocating specific days after Easter to visit Echuca, Shepparton and Yarrawonga, then would be a regular visitor to Kyabram, Tatura, Rochester and other towns.
As for any preference deals he had struck, Dr Peterson said he would be asking United Australia voters to put One Nation second on the ballot.
Jeff Davy
Mr Davy will be visiting businesses in Shepparton next week, mainly from the agricultural sector, to speak about parity pricing.
“I plan to do the same in Echuca within the next two weeks and by the end of the month have planned to visit all points of the Nicholls electorate,“ the Citizens Party candidate said.
This is Mr Davy’s fourth federal election, so he understands more than most the commitment to campaigning.
A Numurkah resident whose parents were original soldier settlers, he has been a dairy farmer and is keen to address the issues he says have affected the industry — free trade, deregulation and water policy.
“One of the Citizens Party platforms is to repeal Malcolm Turnbull’s water act,” he said.
Rob Priestly
The Independent candidate will have some of his ‘’orange army’’ at the Dookie Show ’n’ Shine event on Good Friday, from 9am until noon. The car show is a Royal Children’s Hospital fundraiser.
On Saturday, the campaign will continue at the Numurkah Lions Club market and the Rushworth Easter Festival, while on Sunday Mr Priestly will visit the Sikh temple. He will also be at the Goulburn Vibes event at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton on Saturday evening.
On Tuesday he will be in Seymour and on Wednesday he will be at The Caledonian Hotel in Echuca for the evening.
Sam Birrell
Dookie Show ’n’ Shine is on the agenda for Mr Birrell on Good Friday.
After his weekly parkrun on Saturday morning, the Nationals candidate will be off to the Shepparton Easter Tennis Tournament and has made a commitment to his family on Sunday — no campaigning.
Mr Birrell will be in Kyabram on Tuesday.
Steve Brooks
By Easter Monday, Mr Brooks will have earned a break from the campaign trail, but he admitted it was a rarity for a page of his diary to be empty.
The Liberal candidate will be at the Shepparton Bears and Shepparton United grudge match on Good Friday, and then on Saturday morning will be at the Nathalia markets.
On Saturday he will be at the traditional Murray league Easter clash of Cobram and Barooga, then on Sunday morning will front up at the Yarrawonga markets.
Mr Brooks may be splitting allegiances for the game, but given Cobram is within his electorate the black and yellow of the Tigers may be a more beneficial alignment.
He has dedicated Sunday to an Easter egg hunt with nieces and nephews.
