This year, Campaspe Shire Council has refreshed the entry format to reflect the way people capture everyday moments.
Portrait images are now welcomed alongside traditional formats, and photo categories have been removed, giving entrants complete creative freedom.
All images must be taken within Campaspe Shire and be of sufficient quality for print.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said the competition continued to be a wonderful way to celebrate the region.
“Every year, our community captures Campaspe in ways that are inspiring, creative and often deeply personal,” Cr Mackrell said.
“The calendar showcases the beauty, diversity and vibrancy of our region and tells the story of what makes Campaspe such a great place to live, work and visit.”
A public vote will determine the calendar cover photo, while a judging panel will select winning images for council's 2027 #MyCampaspe calendar.
Each monthly winner will receive a $100 prize.
The completed calendar will be available free of charge to residents later in the year.
Entries close Friday, September 25, with residents able to submit up to five photographs online at campaspe.vic.gov.au/photocomp
