Volunteers will be provided with all necessary equipment and training to ride the custom three-wheeled bike.
Purchased in 2024, the bike has been a big hit with the community’s residents.
As warmer weather approaches, demand for rides is set to increase and the community’s lifestyle/volunteer co-ordinator, Mel Kirkpatrick, is looking for help.

“The residents absolutely love going outside,” Ms Kirkpatrick said.
“(The bike program) gets them out of their rooms, gets them out of the home, gets some fresh air into their lungs and they just love it.
“The smile on their face is just amazing.

Each circuit on the bike takes roughly 30 minutes, with Ms Kirkpatrick inviting people to give whatever amount of time they can.
“I’m not after any particular time (commitment),” she said.
“Even just an hour gets two residents out.
“Knowing (you’ve) put a smile on the face of somebody that may just sit in their room all day ... getting to build a friendship with them, you’re helping out the community, helping out someone that sometimes just wouldn’t be able to get out.”
