More than $31million will be shared across 350 projects for CFA, VICSES, Life Saving Victoria and Volunteer Marine Search and Rescue for this round of the VESEP.
Seymour’s SES Unit will receive $17,000 for an RCR Holmatro Pentheon Combination Tool, $13,000 for refurbishment of the Unit Communications Room and $3000 for new laptops.
State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said it was important to invest in local emergency services.
“Our emergency volunteers are there for Victorians when it matters most, and Labor is giving them the equipment and facilities to get the job done,” Ms Symes said.
This round delivers close to $20 million for vehicles, more than $5 million for facility upgrades and more than $1 million for other operational equipment.
In Mitchell Shire, $543,000 has also been committed to Kilmore Fire Brigade for a medium tanker and $8000 for Kilmore SES Unit for an all-purpose box trailer.
