The candidates will make their pitch for votes and answer questions from the public.
Invitations have been extended to all lower house candidates, and One Nation’s Phil Bryant, community independent Lou Costa, Labor’s Cayla Fin and the Nationals’ Shane Sali have all indicated their intention to attend.
C4GS chief executive Linda Nieuwenhuizen said the forum would be an opportunity for genuine engagement between candidates and the community.
“We want to understand their priorities, hear how they would respond to the issues that matter locally, and assess how effectively they could represent our region in the next Victorian parliament,” Ms Nieuwenhuizen said.
The forum will be held at the La Trobe University campus in Shepparton from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The event is free and open to all ages, but registrations are essential.
C4GS will reach out to any candidates who nominate in the coming weeks.
The deadline for nominations is noon on Monday, November 9.
