The festival’s Shepparton Fashion Series will run from October 3 to 11, featuring talks, workshops and exhibitions.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, August 27, with the full program also to be released that day.
Victorian Trade, Tourism and Investment Minister Natalie Suleyman said the series would put Shepparton on the map for fashion lovers.
She said it would give “regional communities a front-row seat to the best fashion talent in the country”.
Executive director Prue Mahar said the festival was committed to strengthening connections with fashion communities across Victoria.
“We’re creating meaningful opportunities for local designers, makers and creatives to be showcased on a major platform, while inviting new audiences to engage with fashion in a distinctly regional context,” she said.
Ms Mahar said the festival would work with Visit Victoria, Greater Shepparton City Council and local organisations to deliver the series.
The regional expansion to Bendigo and Shepparton follows the festival’s recent rebrand from Melbourne Fashion Festival.
The PayPal Australian Fashion Festival said the name change reflected the festival's broader focus.
