Held in the beautiful Deniliquin Town Hall, the evening promises a fun-filled celebration of the iconic 1978 film, complete with a sing-a-long screening, rock and roll dancers, prizes and plenty of nostalgia.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite Grease character for the chance to win the prize for Best Costume, whether you're channelling Sandy, Danny, Rizzo or one of the T-Birds and Pink Ladies.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, giving movie goers time to settle in, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere before the event begins.
The Rovers Football & Netball Club will be running the bar, with drinks available at bar prices.
Movie snacks will also be on sale throughout the evening and after the screening, at 10pm, a special karaoke evening will continue at The Storyteller.
Deni Film Society president Kate Butler said the event was planned on the back of last year’s successful Rocky Horror Picture Show screening.
"One of the things we love most about film is its ability to bring people together, and Grease is the perfect movie to do just that,“ Mrs Butler said.
“We're encouraging everyone to get involved, sing along to their favourite songs, dress up and enjoy a fun, relaxed evening with friends and family.
