What’s on this week’s Campaspe council agenda?

Campaspe Shire Council is well aware of this and will vote to seek a Federal Government grant for upgraded solar-lighting on shared user paths throughout the LGA at its September meeting.

If the motion passes, it will commit council to matching any funds received from the grant with trails in Echuca, Kyabram, and Rushworth slated for a potential lighting boost.

Council will also hear a petition asking them to not defund, close, restructure or outsource the operations of the Campaspe Community Children’s Centre Echuca.

Other agenda items include

– A vote to revoke a council policy around direction signs for community and tourism facilities as state government policy already provides adequate guidelines.

– The presentation of a draft flood-resilient homes guide.

– A vote on a revised memorial policy.

– A vote to approve the 25/25 Financial Statements and Performance Statement in principle.
