Functions and events manager Maddison Flannigan said the festival was created after she joined the American Hotel and saw an opportunity to bring a dedicated country music event to Echuca.
“When I came to the American to work I had a love for functions and events and no-one in town had put on a country event before,” Ms Flannigan said.
“Let's be the first and grow from there each year and make it an annual event.”
The festival is now in its third year, with Ms Flannigan hoping it can continue to grow and eventually become a major fixture on the region's events calendar.
“It’d be great to turn it into an event like Winter Blues,” she said.
The event will feature country music from Courtney Jane & Band and Briana Lee & Band, alongside other live performances throughout the afternoon and evening.
Ms Flannigan said she researched the artists before approaching them, with their strong country vocals a key factor in selecting the acts.
Visitors will also be able to browse market stalls, get a tattoo and test their skills on a mechanical bull.
“Country music, stall holders, mechanical bull, great vibes and cold beers,” Ms Flannigan said.
The American Hotel will also be serving local Decoy Draught, with Ms Flannigan saying supporting local products was important.
“Being a family-run business we pride ourselves in local beers, especially our Decoy beer,” she said.
The festival will run from 10am, with live music from noon and the mechanical bull operating from 9.30pm for patrons aged 18 and over.
Entry to the festival is free.
Ms Flannigan said the event offered a chance for people of all ages to get out and enjoy a day in Echuca.
“It’s a great day to be out and about in Echuca, it’s great vibes and a day you don’t want to miss,” she said.
She said she hoped people would leave with good memories and a desire to return for future editions of the festival.
