Echuca police seek information on aggravated burglary

POLICE are investigating a report of an aggravated burglary in Echuca on the weekend.

Detective Senior Constable Jason Hare of Campaspe Criminal Investigation Unit said a Hovell St home was broken into while the occupants were asleep early Sunday.

A MacBook, a purse and a large amount of tools were stolen.

“The occupants did not wake up during it so there was no confrontation,” Det Snr Constable Hare said.

Police are appealing to the public for information regarding the incident.

‘‘If anyone saw anything suspicious that night or has seen the stolen property, we would urge them to come forward,’’ Det Snr Constable Hare said.
