Detectives from the Echo Taskforce have charged a man following an alleged assault at a licensed premises in Echuca in November.
A 47-year-old Southbank man was arrested at his property this morning and interviewed by police.
He has been charged with affray, common law assault, unlawful assault and fail to provide access code for a mobile phone.
The man, who is a patched member of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG), was due to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 14.
The charges follow an incident on Sunday, November 28, where a man was struck at a venue in Echuca.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
