Despite finishing on top of the ladder with their perfect record, the Murray Bombers left the night empty handed with Shepparton’s Ashlee Thorneycroft taking home the best and fairest award, three votes ahead of teammate Breanna Davison.
Jess Pitts was the highest polling Echuca player with 11 votes, followed closely by Tiarna Steel (10), Aisha Kirchhofer (9) and Tayla Stewart (7).
Meanwhile the minor premiers also missed out on the administrator of the year, coach of the year and rising star awards.
But coach Mick McInnes - who took won the 2018 coach of the year award - said the team wasn't worried about individual success.
"Everyone is much more worried about winning on Sunday," he said.
"It was always going to be difficult for one of our girls to win after we missed out on two games due to forfeit.
"But at the end of the day to have 11 players poll shows we've had an even contribution throughout the year."
