Tuesday, November 17
Four-ball golf was back after a brief hiatus, with several duos struggling to adapt to the team play registering low scores in the 20s.
One team who didn’t relent though was the Moody-Barber combination who won in a close shave over Lizza-Roberts and Bedford-Zeissner.
In all, 199 golfers played the east course with 43 points on a countback winning a voucher.
Overall winners: 1st: Doug Barber and Trevor Moody (49), 2nd: Michael Lizza and Mark Roberts (48 c/b), 3rd: John Bedford and Dieter Zeissner (48 c/b).
Thursday, November 19
B grade provided Rich River with a fantastic stoush, as Dom stamped his authority with the best of the 40 plus scores.
In C grade, Ky Hodson’s plummeting handicap didn’t stop him from yet another enjoyable score, whereas Bracher was required to hold firm as Hannon came in with a wet sail.
Lizza’s luscious lob on the 7th was the best of the many eagles scored.
In all, 185 golfers played the east course with 37 points, on countback winning a voucher.

B grade: 1st: Dom Cerrone (43), 2nd: Craig Opie (42), 3rd: David Long (41 c/b).

Eagles: 5th — Patrick Hannon and Stephen Payne; 7th — Michael Lizza; 11th — Jayden Dixon.
Saturday, November 21
The final round of the club championships was held on the immaculately presented west course with 76 entrants making it to the final stage.
Before the big prizes are announced the overall nett winners from the competition are below.
Overall nett winners: 1st: Brian Guille (nett 67), 2nd: D’Arcy Whyte (nett 68), 3rd: Cooper Gentle (nett 69).
Eagle: 6th — Stephen Levy.
With A, B, C, D and Senior titles on offer (juniors to be decided during the week) three straight weeks of competition stroke was always going to test even the best of golfers.
Cooper Gentle was crowned club champion after pipping multiple time champion Ben Docking over the last few holes
Cooper’s stunning approach shot on the 17th punctuated his rising golf career.
A presentation in the Tatalia Room followed the championships, where all winners were warmly received.

For the golfers who weren’t fortunate enough to make the final round of the championships a stableford competition was held on the same west course.
Of the 124 golfers who competed, Frank Severino was the clear standout with an imposing display of 44 points in B grade.
Mark Riley produced a lovely round of 42 in C grade and Norman Cue did more than enough to take our A grade.
It was fantastic to see many of these morning golfers stay at the club to applaud those in the championships.

Monday, November 23
A nine-hole stableford competition was played on the east course with 24 entrants.
The run down went to 15 points.
Overall results: 1st: Chris Kelly (21), 2nd: Susan Hull (19), 3rd: Jen Halloran (18 c/b).
Wednesday, November 25
A field of 90 ladies played in a stroke competition which incorporated the third and final, of the club championships.
The run down went to 75 points and was held on the west course.
The overall winner was Maree Ciavarella on nett 68 points.

B grade: 1st: Marg Peat (69), 2nd: Marion Whatley (71 c/b), 3rd: Ellen Banko (71).
