A record 964 athletes took on the 21.1km half-marathon, 10km, 5km or junior dashes at Run Echuca-Moama in 2026.

The result smashes the previous record of 800 participants last year.
“It was a really great day,” said acting Community Living and Respite Services ceo Lauren Davy.
“The weather turned on for us and we had a record number of people out on the track.”
The Community Living and Respite Services fun run and major fundraiser was a smashing success this year, every entry contributing to the Opening Doors Project, building accessible homes locally for those living with disability.
This year’s half-marathon winner logged a slightly slower time than last year’s champion, with Tim Dooley, who stepped up after winning the 10km last year, claiming the honours in 1.13:41.
Dooley had a more than four-minute break on the second placed finisher, while local Hayley Waterson was the fastest female for the third year running, posting a time of 1.24:19.
Adrian Beer topped the 10km event with a pacey run of 32:12, while Montana Jones was fastest female in 39:54.
The 5km was taken out by Jamie Cook in 16:46 with Mila Palmer the first female to finish in a time of 21:23.
“We had some fantastic sponsors come on board and then some event supporters as well,” Davy said.
“We had approximately 50 volunteers on the day helping us pull that together it's not something we do alone and everyone involved was really amazing.”
