We are a third of the way through the season for the most part and this Saturday, May 10, is forecast to be another enthralling day on the field and court.
Headlining the weekend will be the long-awaited Echuca vs Kyabram match-up, a clash of the top two teams in the Goulburn Valley League football will sure to make for enticing theatre.
The seniors will kick off at 2pm while the A-grade netballers will hit the courts shortly after at 2.15pm at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
A split round in the Murray Football Netball League will see just Moama active this weekend, with Echuca United and Tongala earning a much-needed rest.
The Magpies will celebrate their Ladies Day following the A-grade match against Barooga at 1.30pm with live music, food and a raffle, while the seniors game will begin at 2.30pm.
Both Leitchville-Gunbower and Lockington-Bamawm United will be playing in round four of the Heathcote District Football Netball League.
The Bombers will host Colbinabbin at Leitchville Recreation Reserve, with the seniors match getting under way at 2.30pm and A-grade at 1.15pm.
The Cats will also play host in round four, with Heathcote travelling to Lockington Recreation Reserve. The seniors will take the field at 2.30pm and A-grade hit the court at 1.25pm.
Both Picola United and Mathoura will be on the road in round six of the Picola District Football Netball League, where the Blues will take on Jerilderie while the Timbercutters will battle Dookie United.
Both Mathoura and Picola United’s A-grade netballers will begin their contest at 1.30pm, while the senior football matches are slated for a 2.05pm start.
