The seniors clattered through Kyabram to reach the final, while A-grade fell to a clinical Euroa, but will get another shot at glory and there was plenty of success across the lower grades as well.
Echuca’s reserves completely dominated the second half to crush Shepparton Bears 19.6 (120) to 7.6 (48).
The sides went in level at the break, but a 49-1 third period put the Murray Bombers in full control, and they continued to run away with the game in the fourth.
Echuca’s under-18s will also go into the grand final as a heavy favourite after its own big win over Benalla 16.25 (121) to 5.0 (30).
The Saints were held to a single goal in the first half, while piling on 46 points, and the offence only accelerated from there as the Murray Bombers surged into the decider by a big margin.
Netball
Echuca’s B-grade side was upset by Seymour, ending its finals road 36-46.
The Murray Bombers had the half-time lead, but scored only 10 goals after the break as their season was ended.
The club’s junior squad had a better time, with the 17-and-under and 15-and-under each reaching the final.
The 17s got through Shepparton Swans and will now play either the Swans or Shepparton Bears in the final.
In the 15s, Echuca dispatched Moooroopna 43-35 and awaits the winner between the Cats and Euroa.
