While results weren’t the most eye-catching in the Goulburn Valley League A-grade netball, there has been plenty of intriguing movement on the table following round 12.

Euroa travelled to Deakin Reserve and executed its plan to take down Shepparton United on Saturday, but despite a sizeable 21-goal victory, it wasn’t enough for the Magpies to hold its spot atop the GVL table.
A gallant start by the Demons had the red and blue trailing by four goals at quarter time, but Euroa’s Bec Colwell quickly introduced herself to courtside onlookers.
Colwell tallied a half century of goals to surpass the 500 mark on the season, threatening Demons defender with her class positioning and knock down shooting, warning the competition that she has the capability to do the same thing at the Deakin Reserve court on grand final day should Euroa reach that mark again.
A 12-goal halftime lead ensured victory was in sight for the black and white, but the Magpies mercilessly continued to stamp on the Demon defence, increasing the lead to 19 at three-quarter-time and then finishing with a 40-61 victory in favour of the visitors.
The Demons shared the load of scoring between Abby Gilmore (14 goals), Sophie Garner (12), Ellie Robinson (10), and Hannah Onley (four) in the loss that places the club ninth on the table.
As for Euroa, it has slipped to second despite the win as a ruthless Mooroopna outfit defeated finals contender Tatura by 31 goals, 56-25.

The blowout victory puts the Cats 1.24 per cent ahead of Euroa, with Echuca just 3.95 per cent off the minor premiership pace too - all clubs boasting 11-1 records.
Echuca defeated Benalla 87-14, while Shepparton Swans beat Kyabram by 60 goals.
In other ladder-shifting results, Mansfield’s win over Rochester has moved the Eagles into the finals equation, dropping Shepparton out of the top six for the first time this season as the Bears suffered a fifth straight loss, this week to Seymour.
The Bears recorded a 76-47 loss to the Lions, who are now 8-4 on the year and sitting with a two-game buffer in fourth.
Mansfield’s sudden rise has now culminated in a top six spot for the time being, defeating the Tigers by 33 goals to notch its sixth win of the year.
The Eagles will face one of its toughest tests yet against Euroa next week, while Shepparton will look to break its losing form against the Demons - although round one’s clash suggests it won’t come easy, with Shepparton only edging United by one goal in its first encounter.
