The Victorian Wheelchair Football League made its way to Shepparton for the penultimate round of the home-and-away season.

Shepparton Sport Stadium opened its doors for round nine of the state's premier wheelchair footy competition, with Collingwood, St Kilda, Essendon and Richmond all taking to the local courts on Sunday.
Featured among the historic first regional round outing was Shepparton product and Magpies reserve's captain Jack Elliott, who with a game-high nine goals led his side to a 46-point win against the Saints.
It was a proud moment for the 2024 premiership player, and Collingwood doled out a similar result in the championship division clash, coming away with a 130-point win.
Elsewhere, Essendon ground out a hard-fought win over Richmond, while the Tigers edged the community division contest by the narrowest of margins — just a single goal.
