Pioneers invite 54 locals for pre-season

2026 rising star Harper Delamare (pictured) and best-and-fairest Sage Dennis have been invited to train with the Pioneers for the 2026-27 pre-season.

The Bendigo Pioneers have released their lists of pre-season invitees for 2026-27, with 54 local players included.

The under-16 girls feature 14 from the region, the under-16 boys five, while the under-18 girls and under-18 boys have 14 and 21, respectively.

In terms of club representation, 18 players from Echuca, 17 from Echuca United and nine from Moama have been invited.

Other local clubs represented include LBU (two), Tongala (one) and Leitchville-Gunbower (one).
