The Steamers have made a perfect 3-0 start to their new campaign most recently toppling Eaglehawk at the weekend.
“There's a lot coming and going at the start of the season with players being unavailable and new players coming to the club,” Moama bowls operations manager Kevin Anderson said.
“But it's been it's been a great start in the Premier League and throughout the whole club including pennants, so looking forward to the rest of the season.”
Moama had three of four rinks up in the contest, its best skipped by Cameron Keenan, who led Lachlan Robertson, Henry Boswood and Cassandra Millerick to a 33-10 result.
Keenan’s rink was again crucial the previous week, this time featuring Jim Hogan instead of Robertson.
Its 23-shot margin saw Moama to victory by 11 shots despite all three other rinks going down.
“Cass Millerick and Cam Keenan, they've played really well the last three years together, two absolutely class players and it gives the rest of the team a bit of a foundation,” Anderson said.
“Obviously we can't rely on that every week but they've started the season in red hot form so hopefully that can continue.
“Last year as well I think they were the best rink in the whole league so we've kept them together this year and their form’s been brilliant again right from the word go.”
The Steamers are the only side with a perfect record so far, chased by four others with a 2-1 start.
Moama is looking to win a fourth consecutive BCGR Premier League.
