The Lead

Give a dog a home - February 28

By Riverine Herald

IF YOU'RE looking for a sign to bring a new pet into your life, today is your Lucky day.

This loving creature is a six-year-old greyhound mix who can go from zero to 100 in a matter of seconds.

Like a lot of other greyhounds, this pup enjoys a run, but only for a short time.

The rest of the time he loves nothing more than to laze around and relax.

He loves attention; Lucky's idea of a great time is to be lying on your couch or bed getting a lot of pats... all day, if you're willing.

He will need to go to a family with an owner who is willing to take him on daily walks and runs.

It is advised Lucky is kept on a lead at all times during his walk though, even in an off-lead park.

Lucky has not had any formal training, so attending obedience training is highly recommended. This will help him learn how to socialise with other dogs and people in a controlled environment as well as master some commands and strengthen his bond with his new family.

To meet Lucky, visit campaspe.vic.gov.au or phone 5480 3005.

PER source number: BR101840.

Microchip number: 956000003739619.

Lucky's adoption fee is $360.
