As a loved member of the Congregation of Jesus (formerly IBVM/Loreto) and a Mary Ward woman of deep sincerity, Anne’s ministry was dedicated to local leadership, music education and music therapy, bringing joy to many individuals, classes and groups.
Anne’s quiet presence often hid a wide range of other talents especially in writing and painting. Directing choirs and playing in orchestras remained a great passion. Her love of travel for study and ministry took her to many places. With the fruits of these gifts Anne supported Mary Ward International Australia and especially the Loreto community in East Timor.
Anne died peacefully at St Vincent’s Aged Care Hawthorn, Victoria on Thursday, 13th August, 2026.
