Yarrawonga/Border Branch President Jennie Hammon welcomed delegates and members of Corowa, Benalla, Boorhaman, Swanpool, Thoona and Yarrawonga/Border branches to Yarrawonga for the conference.
Jennifer Briggs OAM, Group President welcomed State Office bearer Lorraine Zimmerman, who is Chairman of Magazine/Communications State Committee.
Lorraine conveyed greetings and best wishes for a successful conference from Lynette Harris OAM, State President then declared the meeting open.
Reports were presented.
Then election of Office Bearers for 2019/2020 was conducted by State Representative Lorraine Zimmerman.

Branch secretaries read their 2-minute (timed) reports.
The trophy for this was awarded to Benalla Branch.
The trophy for ‘the full secretaries report’ was won by Swanpool.
The full report is judged at CWA headquarters and is based on the criteria for ‘The Book of Honour ‘competition, which is the best report state-wide.
The winning group reports, (and there are 40 groups across Victoria) then enter the ‘Book of Honour’ section and the winning report is announced at the CWA State Conference in May.
Sadly Balldale Branch closed during the year, and joined with Corowa Branch to celebrate 90 years of CWA service in their community.
The General meeting followed the AGM.
State Representative Lorraine introduced herself then delivered state news, notices and information to the members.
Several group members are attending the World Conference of Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) in Melbourne in April 2019 and 2 junior members are participating in the opening flag ceremony at World Conference.
Future group activities were planned, competitions judged.
Up-coming branch activities are; International Women’s Day functions by Yarrawonga/Border and Corowa Branches; Thoona support the “Wheelie Bin” races.
Host branch Yarrawonga/Border served delicious lunch and afternoon tea.
The meeting concluded with members reciting the CWA motto.
