THE sixth COVID-19 case previously recorded for Campaspe Shire has been reclassified in the latest figures released by the Department of Health and Human Services.
A spokesperson from the department said DHHS do not give specific details for individual cases and it could have been reclassified for a number of reasons.
It means Campaspe Shire has no current active cases of COVID-19. The region’s five cases have all recovered.
Since yesterday, Victoria has recorded 317 new cases of coronavirus, Australia's biggest daily increase since the pandemic began.
Two new deaths have been reported since yesterday – both men in their 80s who died in hospital. To date, 29 people have died from coronavirus in Victoria.
In Victoria there are 902 cases which indicate community transmission and 2128 which are active.
