Ten-year-old girl the victim of DV murder, police say

Emergency services were called to the home in Boolaroo about 3.45pm to reports of a stabbing.

Ambulance paramedics treated the 10-year-old for multiple stab wounds but she died at the scene.

The 17-year-old was arrested at the scene and interviewed overnight.

She was charged with domestic-violence-related murder and has been refused bail ahead of her expected court appearance.
