UPDATE (1.30PM): Powercor crews have restored power to most homes and businesses after an outage occurred across parts of Echuca this morning.
The outage occurred about 10am and initially impacted 2400 customers.
Ground crews and network controllers were able to restore most customers within an hour, but about 37 customers are still without power.
Powercor is investigating the cause of the outage and customers are being kept updated on restoration times via SMS alerts and its website.
EARLIER (10.45AM): Power has been restored to most of Echuca.
MORE than 2300 customers are without power across Echuca.
According to Powercor, the cause of the outage is under investigation and it is not expected to be fully restored until 12pm.
Motorists are being warned to take care with several traffic lights not working.
