Council says this year’s event promises an unforgettable night of dancing, colour and connection for secondary-school-aged youth across the region.
The disco will feature a live DJ, interactive Just Dance battles, a photo booth to capture the fun and plenty of giveaways to keep the energy high.
Designed in collaboration with local young people, the event reflects their creativity and passion for inclusive spaces.
Councillor Zoe Cook said the event continued to be a highlight on the youth calendar following last year’s success.
“Young people have poured their ideas into this event as a celebration of youth creativity and connection,” she said.
“The Glow Up Disco creates a space where everyone can feel safe, be themselves and have a great time.”
The free event will be held at Fuzion Cafe, Echuca, on Friday, November 14, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for those aged between 12 and 17.
It is a drug-, alcohol-, vape- and smoke-free event, supervised by youth workers to ensure a safe environment.
No pass-outs are allowed to ensure everyone’s safety, and more information is available at campaspe.vic.gov.au/Youth
