Conducted by the University of Canberra, the Regional Wellbeing Survey aims to improve the grasp of health, liveability and resilience of Australian townships.
The survey will provide organisations with data to help support and grow the quality of life in the region.
Council chief executive Geoff Rollinson said residents had supported the survey since 2013, and this year’s results would benefit responders.
“This year’s edition of the survey will assist residents participating in the University of Canberra and University of Southern Queensland-organised Regional Wellbeing Project,” he said.
“(It) aims to develop a localised wellbeing framework tailored to the Gannawarra’s specific needs.”
Residents who complete the survey before Monday, December 22 will go in the running to share in $12,000 of prizes, including gift cards from popular retailers.
The Gardiner Foundation will also donate $5 to local neighbourhood houses for every survey completed by a Gannawarra Shire resident.
Two survey lengths are available to complete, with the length chosen determining how many entries are received for the prize draw.
