The event will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 7am to 1pm at Lockington Park on Pannoo Rd.
Open to all types of vehicles, including cars, motorbikes, trucks and utes, the show ’n’ shine features a range of judging categories such as best original, best paintwork, best engine bay and motorcycle classes.
Display vehicles are expected to arrive from about 8.30am, with winners to be announced at noon.
Swap meet stallholders will include a variety of automotive vendors, along with bric-a-brac and plant sellers, offering something for both enthusiasts and casual visitors.
Event organiser Brendan Pentreath said he was looking forward to the day.
“It’s my first time organising the event, and honestly I just hope it all goes smoothly,” he said.
He also acknowledged support from Campaspe Shire Council.
The Lions Club will cater throughout the morning with a hot breakfast, hamburgers and sausages, alongside a doughnut and coffee van.
Funds raised will go towards the club’s projects in the local community.
Entry for the public is $5, with show vehicle entries $10 and site fees $15. The entry fee for participants includes the driver and one passenger, with both cash and EFTPOS available.
A supporting event, the Locky Blocks Lego Exhibition, will also be held at the Lockington Community Centre from 10am to 2pm on the same day.
ALPHA Tyres have also come onboard as the major sponsor.
